TOKYO OPEN FENCING 2026 is a premium open competition organized by the Minato Fencing Association. Fencers across age groups and experience levels meet on one stage in the heart of Tokyo.

ENTRY OPEN
Cancellations will not be accepted after entry is completed, including withdrawals on the event day. Entry fees are non-refundable.

RULES
The competition will be conducted in accordance with the latest FIE rules. The format is planned as one round of pools followed by direct elimination and may be adjusted depending on event operations.
本大会はFIE最新規則に準じ、予選プール1回戦の後、ダイレクトエリミネーションを行う予定です。当日の進行状況等により変更する場合があります。
There will be no advance equipment inspection. Referees will inspect protective gear, uniforms and gloves and check the operation of weapons, body cords and lamés on the piste. Foil and epee points will be tested with 500g and 750g weights respectively. A non-compliant item may result in a penalty under the technical rules.
事前の用具検査は行わず、ピスト上で審判がプロテクターの着用、ユニフォーム・グローブの破損、剣・ボディコード・メタルジャケット等の動作を確認します。ポイントはフルーレ500g、エペ750gで検査し、不適合の場合は競技規則に基づく罰則の対象となります。
A conductive bib is required for every foil category. Fencers in U-14 and younger categories may use a 350N mask. Fencers in U-17 and older categories must use a 1600N mask fitted with the current double-strap system. Leon Paul masks must be the current version and used with the additional retaining strap around the neck.
フルーレは全カテゴリーでメタルビブが必要です。U-14以下は350Nマスクも使用できます。U-17以上は1600Nかつ現行の二重ベルト付きマスクを着用してください。レオンポール製マスクは現行仕様とし、首の後ろに追加ストラップを装着してください。
An 800N FIE-approved underarm protector is required for every category. Jackets and breeches may be 350N for all categories other than Senior. Senior competitors must wear 800N jackets and breeches.
全カテゴリーで800N・FIE公認の半袖プロテクターが必要です。Senior以外のカテゴリーは350N以上のジャケット・パンツを使用できます。Seniorはジャケット・パンツも800Nを着用してください。
For girls’ and women’s categories U-14 and older, both a plastic chest protector and a soft cover are required. For U-8 and U-10 categories, their use is not mandatory but is recommended.
U-14以上の女子カテゴリーでは、プラスチック製チェストプロテクターとソフトカバーの両方が必須です。U-8・U-10では必須ではありませんが、着用を推奨します。
There is no blade-length restriction by category. Masks, jackets, breeches and gloves must be free of tears, and socks must cover the knees.
カテゴリーによる剣の号数制限はありません。マスク、ジャケット、パンツ、グローブ等に破損がなく、膝を覆う長さのソックスを着用してください。
SAFETY CONTROL
Exercise particular care when handling weapons and other equipment during competition, practice and movement through the venue. Ensure that weapons and equipment do not strike another person’s face or body.
試合中、練習中および会場内の移動時は、剣等の用具が他人の顔や身体に当たらないよう十分注意してください。
The organizer accepts no responsibility for injuries, accidents or other incidents occurring during competition. Participants must exercise particular care in managing their own health and safety. Fencers and coaches are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate sports accident or other insurance before the event.
試合中の怪我・事故等について、主催者は一切の責任を負いません。参加者は各自の健康・安全管理に特に留意してください。選手・監督は事前にスポーツ傷害保険等へ加入することを強く推奨します。
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information collected through event registration will be used only for tournament administration and related operations.
参加申込等を通じて取得した個人情報は、大会運営およびこれに付随する業務のために利用します。
Names, teams, gender, age category and other information necessary to identify participants and affiliations may appear in event programs, venue announcements and displays, and tournament-related websites.
氏名、所属、性別、年齢区分等、選手および所属を識別するために必要な情報を、競技プログラム、会場内アナウンス・掲示物、大会関連サイト等で公表する場合があります。
Competition results and records may be published on tournament-related websites, in reports prepared by the Minato Fencing Association, and in materials for future competitions.
競技結果・記録は、大会関連サイト、港区フェンシング協会が作成する報告書、次回以降の大会資料等へ掲載する場合があります。
Photographs and video recorded by the Minato Fencing Association or authorized organizations may be used in printed materials, reports, websites, social media and other event-related media.
港区フェンシング協会または許可を受けた機関が撮影した写真・映像を、印刷物、報告書、Webサイト、SNSその他の大会関連媒体で公開する場合があります。
By completing an entry, participants are deemed to have consented to the handling of personal information and image rights described above.
大会参加申込を完了した時点で、上記の個人情報および肖像権の取り扱いに同意したものとみなします。
